Alexia works across disciplines, using humour and performative strategies to investigate issues of place, security, and identity in an increasingly corporatized and mediated landscape. Working collaboratively with participants, she transposes familiar institutional models into unfamiliar contexts to deconstruct social norms, consumer culture and notions of place.
